DDX34 Antibody (E-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects DDX34 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-DDX34 antibody (E-3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. DDX34, also known as DEAD (Asp-Glu-Ala-His) box polypeptide 34, is a 576 amino acid ATP-binding RNA helicase that plays a crucial role in RNA metabolism, including the unwinding of RNA secondary structures, which is essential for processes such as ribosome and spliceosome assembly. This function influences gene expression and cellular responses to stress, thereby impacting various biological processes such as embryogenesis and cellular growth. DDX34 is encoded on human chromosome 19, a region known for its high gene density, which underscores DDX34′s significance in the intricate network of cellular functions.
