DDX15 Antibody (E-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects DDX15 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). DDX15 Antibody (E-6) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. DDX15, also known as DHX15, DBP1, or HRH2, is a nuclear ATP-dependent RNA helicase that plays a crucial role in pre-mRNA splicing, functioning as a key component in the spliceosome disassembly process after the release of mature mRNA. DDX15 is essential for proper processing of pre-mRNA, which is vital for gene expression regulation and production of functional proteins. DDX15 is expressed throughout various tissues in the body and is particularly important in maintaining cellular homeostasis and facilitating RNA metabolism processes. DDX15 interacts with the La/SSB autoantigen when localized to the nucleoli, highlighting involvement in RNA chaperoning and other intracellular processes. With a length of 795 amino acids, DDX15 is the human ortholog of the Saccharomyces cerevisiae protein Prp43, underscoring evolutionary conservation and significance in cellular function.
