DDX1 Antibody (A-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects DDX1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). DDX1 Antibody (A-7) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. DDX1 protein, a member of the DEAD box family of putative RNA helicases, plays a crucial role in regulating RNA metabolism, including processes such as translation initiation, splicing, and ribosome assembly. DDX1 function is vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and facilitating proper gene expression, which is essential for processes like embryogenesis and cellular growth. DDX1 mRNA exhibits widespread distribution in human fetal tissues, indicating importance during development, while expression levels vary across different tissues, suggesting a regulatory role in tissue maturation. In chicken, DDX1 shares 93% identity with human counterpart and is predominantly expressed during early developmental stages, highlighting evolutionary conservation and functional significance.
