SEE ALSO...

DDR1 Antibody (C-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects DDR1 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). DDR1 (C-6) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. DDR1, also known as discoidin domain receptor tyrosine kinase 1, plays a crucial role in mediating cellular responses to the extracellular matrix, particularly collagen, which is vital for tissue development and repair. Upon activation by collagen, DDR1 initiates signaling pathways that influence cell adhesion, migration, and proliferation, thereby contributing to processes such as wound healing and fibrosis. DDR1′s function is highlighted by involvement in various pathological conditions, including cancer and fibrotic diseases, where dysregulation of receptor tyrosine kinases can lead to aberrant cellular behavior. Understanding DDR1′s role in these processes can provide insights into potential therapeutic targets for treating related diseases.
