DDI2 Antibody (A-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects DDI2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-DDI2 antibody (A-3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. DDI2 protein, consisting of 399 amino acids, plays a crucial role in regulating cell cycle and late secretory pathway, functioning as a ubiquitin receptor homolog. DDI2 facilitates degradation of misfolded proteins, maintaining cellular homeostasis and preventing accumulation of potentially toxic proteins. DDI2 is encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 1, which spans approximately 260 million base pairs and houses other critical genes associated with various diseases, such as LMNA, linked to Hutchinson-Gilford progeria, and MUTYH, involved in familial adenomatous polyposis. Alternative splicing results in three isoforms of DDI2, further underscoring DDI2′s complexity and regulatory potential in cellular processes.
