    SEE ALSO...

DDEFL1 Antibody (C-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects DDEFL1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). DDEFL1 (C-3) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. DDEFL1, also known as development and differentiation enhancing factor-like 1, ACAP4, UPLC1, CENTB6, or ASAP3 (ArfGAP with SH3 domain, ankyrin repeat and PH domain 3), is a 903 amino acid cytoplasmic protein that plays a crucial role in cellular processes. DDEFL1 belongs to the subfamily of ADP-ribosylation factor (Arf) GTPase-activating proteins and is characterized by the presence of two ankyrin repeats, an Arf-GAP domain, and a PH domain. DDEFL1 is primarily expressed in the lung, liver, blood leukocytes, and primary hepatocarcinoma, where DDEFL1 catalyzes the hydrolysis of GTP bound to Arf proteins, thereby promoting cell differentiation and migration. DDEFL1′s function is underscored by involvement in the pathogenesis of hepatocellular carcinoma, highlighting potential as a therapeutic target. Additionally, DDEFL1 exists in two isoforms produced by alternative splicing events and is encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 1, which spans 260 million base pairs and contains over 3,000 genes, comprising nearly 8% of the human genome.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-514132 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: DefinitelyNotMatt
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
