    SEE ALSO...

DcR3 Antibody (G-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b light chain antibody that detects DcR3 in human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). DcR3, or Decoy Receptor 3, plays a crucial role in modulating the immune response by acting as a decoy for pro-apoptotic ligands, particularly those from the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) superfamily. By binding to these ligands, DcR3 prevents them from interacting with death domain-containing receptors, thereby inhibiting apoptosis in cells that might otherwise undergo programmed cell death. This function is particularly important in the context of cancer, as tumor cells can exploit DcR3 to evade immune surveillance and resist apoptosis, contributing to tumor progression and metastasis. The ability of DcR3 to interfere with apoptotic signaling pathways highlights DcR3′s potential as a therapeutic target in cancer treatment, making anti-DcR3 antibody (G-4) an invaluable tool for researchers studying mechanisms of immune evasion and apoptosis in human cancers.
