DBP Antibody (A-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects vitamin D-binding protein (DBP) of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-DBP antibody (A-5) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Vitamin D-binding protein (DBP) is a multifunctional serum protein that plays a crucial role in transporting vitamin D and its metabolites to target organs within the vitamin D endocrine system, essential for maintaining calcium homeostasis and bone health. DBP exhibits immunomodulatory properties, binding to leukocyte surfaces and enhancing immune responses.
