    SEE ALSO...

Dapper3 Antibody (2A5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects the Dapper3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Dapper3 antibody (2A5) is available as a non-conjugated format. Dapper3, also known as DACT3 (dapper, antagonist of beta-catenin, homolog 3) or RRR1, is a 629 amino acid protein that serves as a crucial negative regulator of Wnt/beta-catenin signaling, a pathway vital for various cellular processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and migration. Dysregulation of this pathway has been implicated in several cancers, particularly colorectal cancer, making Dapper3 an important protein in cancer research. As a member of the dapper family, Dapper3 contains a C-terminal PDZ-binding motif that facilitates interaction with Dishevelled family proteins, which are key mediators in the Wnt signaling cascade. Dapper3 is predominantly expressed in the adult brain, particularly in the hippocampus, Purkinje cell layer, and throughout the dorsal forebrain and cerebral cortex, as well as in the developing murine central nervous system. Additionally, Dapper3 is found in various tissues, including the uterus and limb bud mesenchyme, highlighting diverse roles in development and signaling pathways. Mapping to human chromosome 19q13.32, Dapper3′s regulatory function in Wnt signaling underscores potential as a therapeutic target in cancer treatment and a biomarker for disease progression.
