SEE ALSO...

D4DR Antibody (2B9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG antibody that detects D4DR protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunofluorescence (IF). Anti-D4DR antibody (2B9) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. D4DR protein, a member of the dopamine receptor family, plays a crucial role in neurotransmission and is primarily located in the central nervous system, particularly in areas associated with mood regulation and cognitive functions. D4DR localization influences the modulation of dopaminergic signaling pathways, which are essential for various physiological processes, including reward, motivation, and motor control. Dysregulation of D4DR signaling has been implicated in several neuropsychiatric disorders, making D4DR a vital target for therapeutic interventions. D4DR receptor is part of the D2 subclass of dopamine receptors, which also includes D2DR and D3DR, and D4DR′s unique signaling properties contribute to the complexity of dopamine-related functions in the brain.
