SEE ALSO...

CysLT2 Receptor Antibody (B-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgM kappa antibody that detects CysLT2 Receptor protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-CysLT2 Receptor antibody (B-7) is available as the non-conjugated form. CysLT2 receptor plays a crucial role in mediating the effects of cysteinyl leukotrienes, which are lipid mediators involved in inflammatory responses. CysLT2 receptor is primarily located on the surface of various cell types, including airway smooth muscle cells, macrophages, and certain immune cells such as monocytes and eosinophils. CysLT2 receptor presence in these cells facilitates the binding of cysteinyl leukotrienes, leading to intracellular calcium mobilization and subsequent bronchoconstriction, a key feature in asthma and allergic reactions. CysLT2 receptor interaction with ligands highlights its importance in the pathophysiology of respiratory diseases, making CysLT2 receptor a valuable target for therapeutic intervention. CysLT2 receptor effects can be effectively blocked by specific antagonists, providing a mechanism for developing treatments aimed at alleviating symptoms associated with asthma and other allergic conditions.
