CYP3A4 Antibody (HL3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Cytochrome P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) in human and rat samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. Anti-CYP3A4 antibody (HL3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CYP3A4 plays a crucial role in drug metabolism, as CYP3A4 is responsible for the biotransformation of over 50% of clinically used medications, making CYP3A4 essential for pharmacokinetics and personalized medicine. Located predominantly in the endoplasmic reticulum of liver cells and upper intestinal enterocytes, CYP3A4′s expression can be induced by glucocorticoids and other pharmacological agents, which can significantly affect drug clearance and efficacy.
