    CYP2U1 Antibody (B-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects CYP2U1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-CYP2U1 antibody (B-5) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CYP2U1, consisting of 544 amino acids, is a member of the cytochrome P450 family, which plays a crucial role in the metabolism of diverse endogenous and xenobiotic compounds. CYP2U1 is involved in the metabolism of long-chain fatty acids, such as arachidonic acid and docosahexaenoic acid, which are vital for various physiological processes, including inflammation and neuronal signaling. CYP2U1′s ability to modulate arachidonic acid signaling pathway is particularly important in the cerebellum and thymus, where CYP2U1 may influence both neurological functions and immune responses.
