CYP19 Antibody (E-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody raised against amino acids 204–503 located at the C-terminus of human CYP19. CYP19, also known as aromatase, estrogen synthase, or cytochrome P450 family 19 subfamily A member 1, is a crucial enzyme that catalyzes the conversion of androgens to estrogens. Specifically, CYP19 transforms testosterone into estradiol and androstenedione into estrone, playing a pivotal role in steroidogenesis.
