Cyclophilin F Antibody (G-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Cyclophilin F protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Cyclophilin F (G-9) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Cyclophilin F, also known as PPIF, is a 207 amino acid protein located in the mitochondrial matrix, where PPIF plays a crucial role in regulating cell death pathways. Specifically, Cyclophilin F is involved in the induction of necrotic and apoptotic cell death through activation of the mitochondrial permeability transition pore, a critical process that can lead to cell survival or death depending on the cellular context.
