Cyclophilin E Antibody (9E18) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects Cyclophilin E protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Cyclophilin E antibody (9E18) is available as a non-conjugated format. Cyclophilin E, also known as CyPE, Cyclophilin 33, CyP33, PPIase E, or Rotamase E, is a crucial nuclear RNA-binding protein that plays a significant role in cellular processes. Cyclophilin E features a unique structure, including an N-terminal RNA binding domain and a C-terminal cyclophilin domain, allowing specific interactions with mRNA. This structural configuration enhances peptidyl-prolyl isomerase activity of Cyclophilin E, facilitating proper protein folding and gene expression regulation. Cyclophilin E binds to the third PHD zinc finger domain of MLL protein, influencing transcriptional regulation of target genes, including HoxC8 and HoxC9 genes.
