    cyclin B3 Antibody (E-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects cyclin B3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). cyclin B3 Antibody (E-8) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. cyclin B3, also known as CCNB3 or CYCB3, is a 1,395 amino acid nuclear protein that plays a crucial role in regulating meiotic cell cycle, particularly during early meiotic prophase I. cyclin B3 is predominantly expressed in testis, with lower levels found in other tissues, highlighting specific function in gametogenesis. The cyclin family, which includes cyclins A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, K, L, and T, along with related proteins, such as Dbf4, are essential for forming active protein kinase complexes that control cell cycle progression. Expression and stability of cyclins, including cyclin B3, fluctuate throughout cell cycle, which is vital for precise timing of kinase activation and subsequent cell cycle transitions. cyclin B3 exists in three isoforms due to alternative splicing, which may contribute to functional diversity and regulatory mechanisms in meiosis.
