    SEE ALSO...

CRP1 Antibody (F-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects CRP1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CRP1 (F-12) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CRP1, also known as cysteine and glycine-rich protein 1, plays a crucial role in organizing multiprotein complexes, particularly in the cytoplasm and nucleus, where CRP1 is involved in cytoskeletal remodeling and smooth muscle differentiation. CRP1 contains two LIM zinc-binding domains that are essential for interaction with adhesion-plaque protein Zyxin, as well as with α-actinin, which is vital for muscle differentiation. These interactions highlight CRP1′s structural function, emphasizing CRP1′s importance in maintaining cellular architecture and facilitating muscle development. CRP1′s abundance in prostate and smooth muscle lineages further underscores CRP1′s significance in tissue-specific functions and cellular integrity.
