Crk-L Antibody (B-1) is a high quality monoclonal Crk-L antibody (also designated Crk-L antibody) suitable for the detection of the Crk-L protein of mouse, rat and human origin. Crk-L Antibody (B-1) is available as both the non-conjugated anti-Crk-L antibody form, as well as multiple conjugated forms of anti-Crk-L antibody, including agarose, HRP, PE, FITC and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. SH2 and SH3 (Src homology) domains were originally identified as critical functional domains within non-receptor proteins with tyrosine kinase activity. One of the first members of the family to be identified, Crk, is a transformation-specific protein that induces elevation of cellular phosphotyrosine levels, but lacks tyrosine kinase activity itself. A second protein, Nck, consists solely of three SH3 domains and one SH2 domain, while GRB2 contains an SH2 domain flanked on both sides by SH3 domains. A member of this protein class, Crk-L, is encoded by a gene located on chromosome 22, band 11, centromeric of the chronic myelogenous leukemia breakpoint region. Crk-L encodes a 303 amino acid protein with one SH2 and two SH3 domains.

1) What is the cost of the AF647-conjugated antibody "sc-365092 AF647"?
2) Will this Crk-L antibody also stain Crk II?
Asked by: jmjerome
Thank you for your question. We are in the process of updating the pricing and ordering information for our conjugates on the website and this information should be available soon. The cost for sc-365092 AF647 is $314 for 200 µg in 1 ml. This monoclonal antibody is specific for Crk-L and is not expected to cross-react with Crk II.

I want to know if the sc-365092: Crk-L (B-1) mouse monoclonal antibody can detect the phosphorylated Crkl? I know that anti-CRKL antibody (C-20, Santa Cruz) can detects the phosphorylated and unphosphorylated protein fractions, but it was off market.
Asked by: yanhua
Thank you for your question. Yes, this antibody would be able to detect both phosphorylated and non-phosphorylated Crk-L. If you have any further questions, please contact our Asia Technical Service team. You can reach them by phone at (86 21) 6093-6350, by email at: [email protected] or by live chat directly on our website, www.scbt.com

Very good antibody for Western blottingThis product has been independently tested and validated in-house at Kinexus Bioinformatics Corporation as a relatively potent and highly specific antibody for Western blotting with a mixture of mouse brain, testes and thymus tissue lysates. It clearly detected an appropriately sized ~36 kDa target protein in these immunoblots, which is only slightly higher than the predicted molecular mass of 33.8 kDa for Crk-L.
