CRISP-3 Antibody (D-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects CRISP-3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CRISP-3 (D-6) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Cysteine-rich secretory proteins (CRISPs) are a family of evolutionarily conserved proteins that play significant roles in the innate immune system and are transcriptionally regulated by androgens in various tissues. CRISP-3 is primarily expressed in the pancreas and prostate, as well as in saliva, indicating potential involvement in reproductive and digestive processes. Notably, CRISP-3 is an early response gene that may contribute to the pathophysiology of autoimmune conditions such as Sjogren′s syndrome, highlighting importance in immune regulation. Additionally, CRISP-3 interacts with other proteins involved in sperm-egg fusion, which is crucial for successful fertilization. Anti-CRISP-3 antibody (D-6) in multiple formats serves as a versatile tool for researchers studying functional implications of CRISP-3 in various biological contexts.
