CRHSP-24 Antibody (A-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects CRHSP-24 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CRHSP-24 (A-1) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CRHSP-24, also known as calcium-regulated heat-stable protein 24, is a serine phosphoprotein that plays a crucial role in calcium-mediated signal transduction, primarily due to phosphorylation on serine residues. CRHSP-24 is ubiquitously expressed and has been identified as a physiological substrate for Ca2+-calmodulin regulated protein phosphatase calcineurin (PP2B), highlighting CRHSP-24′s importance in cellular signaling pathways. CRHSP-24 interacts with STYX/dead phosphate protein during spermatid development and is a paralog of brain-specific mRNA-binding protein PIPPIN. Phosphorylation of CRHSP-24 on Ser 52 by Akt-1 (PKBα) occurs in response to insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1) and by both Akt-1 and ribosomal S6 kinase (RSK) in response to epidermal growth factor (EGF). Additionally, phosphorylation on Ser 41 in the absence of IGF-1/EGF by a DYRK isoform or another proline-directed protein kinase further illustrates CRHSP-24′s complex regulatory mechanisms.
