CREB3L3 Antibody (E-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects CREB3L3 protein of mouse origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-CREB3L3 antibody (E-2) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CREB3L3, also known as cAMP-responsive element-binding protein 3-like protein 3, CREBH, or HYST1481, is a 461 amino acid single-pass type II membrane protein primarily localized to the endoplasmic reticulum (ER). CREB3L3′s localization enables response to ER stress through cleavage and translocation to the nucleus, where CREB3L3 acts as a transcription factor. During ER stress, CREB3L3 activates genes involved in the unfolded protein response and acute phase response, highlighting CREB3L3′s significant role in cellular stress management. CREB3L3 is underexpressed in hepatocellular carcinoma, indicating potential function as a tumor suppressor. CREB3L3 operates as a dimer and features a leucine zipper domain, a KDEL-like sequence, and a basic leucine zipper (bZIP) domain, which are essential for DNA binding capabilities. Three isoforms of CREB3L3 arise from alternative splicing, further diversifying functional roles in cellular processes.
