CPS1 Antibody (B-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects CPS1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CPS1 Antibody (B-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CPS1 (B-1) antibody targets a protein that plays a crucial role in the urea cycle, catalyzing the conversion of ammonia and bicarbonate into carbamoyl phosphate, which is essential for ammonia detoxification in the liver. This process maintains nitrogen balance in the body, and any CPS1 deficiency can lead to severe hyperammonemia, a condition causing neurological damage and inherited in an autosomal recessive manner. CPS1 (B-1) monoclonal antibody recognizes a protein primarily localized in liver cell mitochondria, where CPS1 functions under various metabolic signals, ensuring efficient ammonia processing during high protein intake or metabolic stress. CPS1′s ability to respond to cellular environment changes underscores metabolic homeostasis importance and highlights anti-CPS1 antibody (B-1) relevance in research focused on metabolic disorders and liver function.
