COX4 Antibody (F-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects COX4 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). COX4 (F-8) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The cytochrome c oxidase (COX) complex, of which COX4 is a crucial component, serves as the terminal oxidase in the mitochondrial respiratory chain, facilitating the transfer of electrons from cytochrome c to molecular oxygen, thereby playing a vital role in cellular respiration and energy production.
