COUP-TF/EAR2 Antibody (F-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects COUP-TF/EAR2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). COUP-TF/EAR2 (F-11) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. COUP-TF/EAR2, also known as EAR2 (v-erb-a avian erythroblastic leukemia viral oncogene homolog-like 2), plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression by binding to specific enhancer elements, such as the TGACCT motif, which is located upstream of the renin gene. This interaction is vital for the repression of renin gene transcription, thereby influencing blood pressure regulation and fluid balance in the body. COUP-TF/EAR2 is involved in the gonadotropin-dependent derepression of luteinizing hormone receptor promoter activity in granulosa cells, highlighting its importance in reproductive biology. EAR2 mRNA is predominantly expressed in the liver, and COUP-TF/EAR2 is localized in the nucleus of As4.1 cells, indicating a role in nuclear signaling pathways and transcriptional regulation.
