SEE ALSO...

Coronavirus Antibody (FIPV3-70) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects the Coronavirus protein of Coronavirus origin by western blotting (WB), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP). Anti-Coronavirus antibody (FIPV3-70) is available as the non-conjugated format, providing researchers with a reliable tool for studying this significant viral pathogen. Coronaviruses are enveloped viruses characterized by their positive-sense single-stranded RNA genome and helical symmetry, which gives them a crown-like appearance under an electron microscope. These viruses primarily target the upper respiratory and gastrointestinal tracts of mammals and birds, with several strains known to infect humans, leading to common colds and more severe respiratory illnesses. Notably, the structure of the Coronavirus protein is crucial for its function, as Coronavirus protein plays a key role in the virus′s ability to enter host cells and replicate. The spike protein, a prominent feature of the virus′s structure, facilitates the binding of the virus to host cell receptors, initiating infection. Understanding the structure of this protein is vital for developing therapeutic strategies and vaccines, as Coronavirus protein is a primary target for neutralizing antibodies. With specificity and versatility, Coronavirus monoclonal antibody (FIPV3-70) is an essential reagent for advancing research in virology and infectious diseases.
