CML66 Antibody (C-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects CML66 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CML66 (C-4) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CML66, encoded by the NUDCD1 gene, consists of 583 amino acids and is notably expressed in a range of solid tumor cell lines and leukemias, with normal tissue expression primarily limited to the testis and heart. CML66 has been identified in the sera of 18-38% of patients with lung cancer, melanoma, or prostate cancer, suggesting potential as an immunogenic target across various malignancies and a candidate for antigen-specific immunotherapy. Additionally, CML66 undergoes alternative splicing to produce a shorter isoform known as CML66-S, which retains the same C-terminus as the full-length CML66 (CML66-L) but features a distinct N-terminus. CML66-S is predominantly expressed in the testis and is found at very low levels in tumor cells, while full-length CML66 is expressed in both tumor cells and testis, highlighting the complexity of expression and potential roles in cancer biology.
