    SEE ALSO...

CLEC-1 Antibody (D-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects CLEC-1 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CLEC-1 Antibody (D-6) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CLEC-1, a member of the C-type lectin-like receptor family, plays a crucial role in immune response by mediating pathogen recognition, particularly in dendritic and endothelial cells. This 280 amino acid single-pass type II transmembrane protein is primarily located in perinuclear compartments and requires an associated chain for proper trafficking to the cell surface, which is essential for antigen uptake. CLEC-1 includes a single carbohydrate recognition domain vital for ligand interaction, as well as a cytoplasmic immuno-receptor tyrosine-based motif important for signaling pathways. Multiple potential phosphorylation sites can modulate CLEC-1 activity and interactions, highlighting CLEC-1′s significance in regulating innate immunity and potential implications in therapeutic strategies targeting immune responses.
