Cleaved Rock-1 Antibody (154C1465) is a mouse monoclonal IgG specifically designed to recognize the C-terminus of cleaved ROCK1 (Rho-associated coiled-coil-containing protein kinase 1). Anti-ROCK1 antibody (154C1465) targets the caspase-3 cleavage site corresponding to amino acids 1113-1114 of human ROCK1 and is reactive with human, mouse, rat, and canine samples. ROCK1, also known as p160ROCK or ROKβ, is a serine/threonine kinase integral to regulating the actin cytoskeleton, cell motility, contraction, and apoptosis. During apoptosis, caspase-3 cleaves ROCK1, resulting in a constitutively active form that enhances phosphorylation of substrates like myosin light chain (MLC), contributing to membrane blebbing, a hallmark of apoptotic cells. Anti-ROCK1 antibody (154C1465) is suitable for detecting both the cleaved and full-length forms of ROCK1 in western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP) assays, making this reagent a valuable tool for studying apoptosis and cytoskeletal dynamics in various biological processes, including cancer progression and cell migration.
