    SEE ALSO...

Clca5 Antibody (A-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Clca5 protein of mouse and rat origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Clca5 antibody (A-5) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Clca5 (A-5) antibody targets a member of the calcium-activated chloride channel (CLCA) family, which plays a crucial role in regulating ion transport and fluid secretion in epithelial tissues. This function is particularly important in maintaining mucosal hydration and protecting against pathogens, making Clca5 a significant player in respiratory and gastrointestinal health. Clca5 (A-5) monoclonal antibody recognizes strong expression in the eye and spleen, suggesting involvement in immune responses and ocular physiology. Clca5′s unique expression pattern and functional role highlight potential as a therapeutic target in conditions characterized by dysregulated chloride transport, such as cystic fibrosis and other airway diseases.
