CLCA1 Antibody (E-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects CLCA1 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-CLCA1 antibody (E-4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The calcium-activated chloride channel protein family, which includes CLCA1, plays a crucial role in regulating ion transport across epithelial cell membranes, thereby influencing fluid secretion and mucosal hydration. This function is particularly important in the respiratory and gastrointestinal tracts, where proper chloride ion transport is essential for maintaining mucus viscosity and facilitating effective mucociliary clearance.
