Clathrin HC Antibody (TD.1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Clathrin HC protein of broad species origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. Anti-Clathrin HC antibody (TD.1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Clathrin plays a crucial role in intracellular transport, particularly in receptor-mediated endocytosis, where Clathrin facilitates the engulfing of receptor proteins into clathrin-coated vesicles. Clathrin is primarily located in the cytosol, where Clathrin assembles into a triskelion structure composed of three heavy chains and three light chains.
