ChemR23 Antibody (C-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ChemR23 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ChemR23 (C-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates, providing versatility for different experimental needs. ChemR23, also known as chemokine receptor-like 1, is a member of the G protein-coupled receptor family and plays a crucial role in immune responses by acting as a receptor for specific chemokines, which are vital for leukocyte migration and adhesion. ChemR23 is predominantly located in the cell membrane, where positioning is essential for function as a receptor, allowing interaction with extracellular signals and initiation of intracellular signaling pathways. This interaction is particularly important in inflammatory responses and tissue homeostasis, as ChemR23 helps regulate immune cell movement to sites of injury or infection. Additionally, ChemR23 has been implicated in various diseases, including a role as a co-receptor for certain strains of simian immunodeficiency virus and HIV-1, highlighting significance in both normal physiology and disease pathology. Anti-ChemR23 antibody (C-7)′s ability to detect ChemR23 across multiple species makes this reagent an invaluable tool for researchers studying immune mechanisms and receptor signaling pathways.
