CES3 Antibody (B-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects amino acids 70-96 of CES3 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CES3 monoclonal antibody (B-5) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CES3 (Carboxylesterase 3) is a 571 amino acid carboxylesterase that plays a crucial role in the detoxification of xenobiotics, particularly in the hydrolysis of the chemotherapeutic agent CPT-11, which is vital for effective cancer treatment. CES3 (B-5) antibody targets an enzyme predominantly localized in the lumen of the endoplasmic reticulum, where CES3 catalyzes the conversion of carboxylic esters into alcohols and carboxylates in a water-dependent reaction.
