CES1 Antibody (A-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects CES1 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CES1 (A-11) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CES1 plays a vital role in detoxification processes within the liver, where CES1 is primarily located. CES1 is essential for hydrolyzing a wide range of xenobiotics, including therapeutic ester and amide pro-drugs, as well as narcotic compounds. CES1′s localization in the liver allows for efficient metabolism of drugs and toxins, thereby protecting the body from potential harm.
