SEE ALSO...

Ceramide Kinase Antibody (G-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects Ceramide Kinase protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Ceramide Kinase antibody (G-3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Ceramide Kinase, also known as CERK, LK4 (lipid kinase 4), or acylsphingosine kinase, is a 537 amino acid peripheral membrane protein primarily localized to membrane and cytoplasm. Such localization enables Ceramide Kinase to effectively interact with substrates and participate in key signaling pathways. Highly expressed in brain, liver, kidney, heart, and skeletal muscle, with lower expression levels in spleen, lung, thymus, and small intestine, Ceramide Kinase utilizes calcium and magnesium as cofactors to catalyze ATP-dependent conversion of ceramide to ceramide 1-phosphate (C1P), a significant sphingolipid metabolite. Operating optimally at a pH range of 6-7.5, Ceramide Kinase plays a vital role in various cellular processes, including apoptosis, phagocytosis, and cellular proliferation, highlighting its importance in maintaining cellular homeostasis and responding to stress signals.

I am using the LiCor/Odyssey system. Which secondary antibody do you recommend using with Ceramide Kinase (G-3): sc-376730?

Asked by: DefinitelyNotMatt
We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems. A complete list of available binding proteins is available on our website here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/browse/support-products-mouse-igg-binding-proteins/_/N-ecrety

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Scarso funzionamentoHo richiesto la small size qualche settimana fa e lo abbiamo usato su estratti totali di cellule SiHa, C4I e K562. Si rileva la presenza di numerose bande di altezze diverse con aspetto di aspecificità.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Multiple non-specific bands.I got a sample antibody, but unfortunately it couldn't detect CERK at the expected molecular weight, instead I got a blot full of non-specific bands. I don't recommend this antibody.
