Centrin-3 Antibody (E-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Centrin-3 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Centrin-3 antibody (E-6) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Centrin-3 is a member of the EF-hand type calcium-binding proteins family, which includes Centrin-1 and Centrin-2, and is crucial for maintaining cellular structure and function. Centrin-3 is primarily located in the centrosomes, where Centrin-3 plays a vital role in centrosome reproduction and spindle pole morphology organization during cell division. Proper localization of Centrin-3 is essential for accurate duplication of centrioles and successful completion of cytokinesis, processes critical for cell proliferation and tissue homeostasis. Centrin-3 is expressed in tissues with cilia, such as the retina and testis, highlighting Centrin-3′s importance in cellular differentiation and function. Centrin-3′s ability to interact with other centrin family members and involvement in mitotic spindle assembly further underscore Centrin-3′s significance in cellular dynamics and development.
