CELSR3 Antibody (2F7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects CELSR3 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-CELSR3 antibody (2F7) is available as a non-conjugated isotype antibody. CELSR3, a member of the cadherin EGF LAG seven-pass G-type receptor family, plays a crucial role in neuronal development, particularly in dendritic patterning and axon guidance. CELSR3 facilitates communication between adjacent cells during neural circuit formation. CELSR3 interacts with other cadherin family members, which are vital for maintaining synaptic structural integrity and ensuring accurate neuronal connectivity. Studies show that silencing CELSR3 can lead to significant alterations in dendritic arbor morphology, resulting in simplified dendritic structures in cortical pyramidal neurons and Purkinje cells. CELSR3, along with homologs CELSR1 and CELSR2, is expressed at critical stages in the developing central nervous system, highlighting CELSR3′s importance in neural development and functional neural network establishment.
