CDKL5 Antibody (D-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects CDKL5 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-CDKL5 antibody (D-12) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CDKL5, which consists of 1,030 amino acids, is a member of the CMGC Ser/Thr protein kinase family and is primarily expressed in the brain, lung, kidney, prostate, ovary, placenta, pancreas, and testis. CDKL5 plays a crucial role in cell cycle regulation by interacting with cyclins and cyclin-dependent kinases to phosphorylate key substrates necessary for cell cycle progression. CDKL5 is implicated in several neurological disorders, including X-linked infantile spasm syndrome and Rett syndrome, highlighting CDKL5′s significance in both normal cellular function and disease pathology.
