SEE ALSO...

Cdc20 Antibody (E-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Cdc20 of mouse, rat, and human origin through western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry (IHC). Cdc20 monoclonal antibody (E-7) is offered in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase, phycoerythrin, fluorescein isothiocyanate, and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Cdc20 plays a crucial role in cell cycle regulation, particularly in the transition from the G2 phase to mitosis, by activating the anaphase-promoting complex/cyclosome (APC/C), which is essential for the degradation of cyclins and other regulatory proteins. This degradation is vital for the proper progression of the cell cycle, ensuring that cells divide accurately and at the right time. Dysregulation of Cdc20 can lead to improper cell division and has been implicated in various cancers, making Cdc20 an important target for research in cell cycle dynamics and cancer biology. Cdc20 transcript is readily detectable in various cultured cell lines during the growth phase, but expression diminishes when cell growth is chemically arrested, highlighting Cdc20′s role in cell proliferation.

Can I use this mouse monoclonal antibody for immunohistochemical staining of mouse tissue? Or even double or triple staining on the same samples?

Asked by: DefinitelyNotMatt
Thank you for your question. Yes. We recommend using a directly conjugated mouse monoclonal primary antibody. This antibody is currently available conjugated to phycoerythrin (sc-13162 PE), fluorescein (sc-13162 FITC), Alexa Fluor® 488 (sc-13162 AF488) or Alexa Fluor® 647 (sc-13162 AF647). Please contact Technical Service if you have further questions concerning this product.
