CD8-α Antibody (6A242) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody raised against thymocyte membrane glycoproteins of rat origin, designed for the detection of CD8-α in mouse and rat samples via western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and flow cytometry (FCM). CD8-α, also known as CD8A, Leu2, or p32, is a cell surface glycoprotein predominantly expressed on cytotoxic T lymphocytes and some natural killer cells, forming either homodimers (αα) or heterodimers (αβ) with CD8-β.
