    SEE ALSO...

CD79B Antibody (AT105-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects CD79B in human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and flow cytometry (FCM). CD79B, also known as B29, is a critical component of the B cell antigen receptor complex, functioning alongside CD79A to facilitate the signaling necessary for B cell activation and development. CD79B (AT105-1) antibody enables research into CD79B′s essential role in surface expression of immunoglobulins, such as IgM and IgD, which are vital for antigen recognition and presentation. The cytoplasmic tail of CD79B contains an immuno-receptor tyrosine-based activation motif (ITAM) that is crucial for initiating downstream signaling cascades upon antigen binding, thereby activating tyrosine kinases that propagate the signal within the B cell. This signaling is fundamental for B cell proliferation, differentiation, and the generation of an effective immune response, making CD79B a significant target for research in immunology and potential therapeutic interventions in B cell-related disorders. Anti-CD79B antibody (AT105-1) serves as an invaluable tool for studying B cell biology and the mechanisms underlying immune responses.

How can CD79B (AT105-1): sc-59114 mouse monoclonal antibody be used for double or triple staining, if the other primary antibodies are also raised in mouse?

    Asked by: jerojero
In this case, we recommend using a directly conjugated mouse monoclonal primary antibody. This antibody is available conjugated to phycoerythrin (sc-59114 PE) or fluoroscein (sc-59114 FITC).
