SEE ALSO...

CD64 Antibody (C-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects CD64 of mouse origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CD64 (C-6) antibody is available in a non-conjugated form, providing flexibility for various experimental needs. CD64, also known as Fc-gamma receptor 1, is a critical surface glycoprotein that exhibits high affinity for monomeric immunoglobulin G (IgG) and is predominantly expressed on monocytes and macrophages, with expression levels in neutrophils being inducible upon stimulation with interferon-gamma. CD64 plays a key role in mediating humoral immune responses, particularly in initiating cell-mediated cytotoxicity, which is essential for targeting and eliminating pathogens. Structurally, CD64 features an extracellular domain that binds IgG, and a cytoplasmic tail containing motifs that facilitate recruitment of signaling molecules, thereby triggering downstream immune responses. CD64 has been shown to interact with various proteins, including Src family kinases such as Hck and Lyn, which enhance signaling capabilities upon receptor cross-linking. This interaction highlights CD64′s significance in modulating immune cell activation and function, making anti-CD64 antibody (C-6) a valuable tool for researchers studying immune responses in mouse models.
