Datasheets
  • CD3-γ Antibody (H-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 κ CD3-γ antibody, cited in 1 publications, provided at 200 µg/ml
  • specific for an epitope mapping between amino acids 151-180 at the C-terminus of CD3-γ of human origin
  • recommended for detection of CD3-γ of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA
  • m-IgGκ BP-HRP is the preferred secondary detection reagent for CD3-γ Antibody (H-7) for WB applications. This reagent is now offered in a bundle with CD3-γ Antibody (H-7) (see ordering information below). For additional m-IgGκ BP conjugates see our complete list of Mouse IgG Binding Proteins.

SEE ALSO...

CD3-γ Antibody (H-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 kappa light chain antibody that detects CD3-gamma protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-CD3-gamma antibody (H-7) is available as the non-conjugated form. CD3-gamma protein plays a crucial role in the immune response by forming part of the T cell receptor (TCR) complex, which is essential for T cell activation and signaling. CD3-gamma protein is located on the surface of T cells, where CD3-gamma protein associates with TCR to facilitate recognition of foreign antigens. Upon antigen binding, TCR-CD3 complex transmits signals that lead to T cell activation, proliferation, and differentiation, which are vital for mounting an effective immune response. CD3 complex is composed of five invariant polypeptide chains that form three distinct dimers, including gamma-epsilon heterodimer, which is critical for stability and function of TCR. Presence of immunoreceptor tyrosine-based activation motifs (ITAMs) within CD3 chains is essential for initiating downstream signaling cascades, making CD3-gamma protein a key player in adaptive immunity. Understanding CD3-gamma′s role in T cell signaling not only provides insights into immune system function but also has implications for therapeutic strategies targeting T cell responses in various diseases, including cancer and autoimmune disorders.
