CD22 Antibody (SJ10.1H11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects CD22 in human samples through immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and flow cytometry (FCM). CD22 is a critical B lymphocyte-specific antigen, also known as B-lymphocyte cell adhesion molecule (BLCAM), sialic acid-binding Ig-like lectin 2 (Siglec-2), and Leu-14, functioning as a type I integral membrane glycoprotein that regulates B cell signaling. CD22 (SJ10.1H11) antibody recognizes a protein predominantly located on mature B cell surfaces, where CD22 modulates activation and differentiation, making CD22 essential for maintaining immune homeostasis. CD22 exists in two isoforms, CD22α and CD22β, with CD22β being the principal form in mature B cells. CD22 expression on cell surfaces helps prevent excessive activation and promotes self-tolerance, thereby reducing autoimmune response risks.
