CD22 Antibody (E-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects CD22 in human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CD22 is a critical regulator of B cell signaling and plays a vital role in the immune response by modulating the activation and proliferation of B lymphocytes. This integral membrane glycoprotein is primarily located on the surface of B cells, where CD22 functions as a cell adhesion molecule, facilitating interactions between B cells and other immune cells. CD22 expression on mature B cells is essential for maintaining immune tolerance and preventing autoimmunity, as CD22 helps to regulate the strength and duration of B cell receptor signaling.
