    CD2 Antibody (1E7E8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects CD2 in human samples through western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and flow cytometry (FCM). CD2 is a crucial transmembrane glycoprotein primarily expressed on peripheral blood T lymphocytes, natural killer (NK) cells, and thymocytes, as well as on mouse B cells and rat splenic macrophages. CD2 mediates cell adhesion by interacting with CD58, which enhances antigen-specific T cell activation.
