SEE ALSO...

CCL27 Antibody (G-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects CCL27 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CCL27 Antibody (G-6) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CCL27, also known as cutaneous T cell-attracting chemokine, CTACK, ILC, ALP, and skinkine, plays a crucial role in skin homeostasis and inflammatory response by binding to chemokine receptor CCR10 (GPR-2). This interaction facilitates preferential migration and recruitment of cutaneous lymphocyte-associated antigen (CLA)+ memory lymphocytes to the skin, which is essential for maintaining immune surveillance and responding to skin inflammation. CCL27 is predominantly expressed in human keratinocytes and mouse epidermis, while CCR10 is found in various skin cells, including melanocytes, dermal fibroblasts, dermal microvascular endothelial cells, and T cells, as well as skin-derived Langerhans cells. The ability of CCL27 to attract specific immune cells underscores CCL27′s importance in both normal skin function and pathological conditions, making anti-CCL27 antibody (G-6) a valuable tool for researchers studying skin-related immune responses and disorders.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-390112 P appropriate for?

Asked by: jenniferc
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
