    SEE ALSO...

CCDC73 Antibody (D-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects CCDC73 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-CCDC73 antibody (D-8) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates, providing versatility for different experimental needs. CCDC73, also known as Sarcoma antigen NY-SAR-79, is a 1079 amino acid protein characterized by the presence of a coiled-coil domain, which is crucial for structural integrity and function. This coiled-coil motif enables CCDC73 to participate in essential biological processes such as gene expression regulation, cell division, and membrane dynamics, making CCDC73 a significant player in cellular homeostasis and signaling pathways. The gene encoding CCDC73 is located on human chromosome 11, a region associated with various genetic disorders, including Jervell and Lange-Nielsen syndrome and Jacobsen syndrome, highlighting the importance of studying CCDC73 in the context of human health and disease.

you send me to a protocol. C. Formalin-Fixed, Paraffin-Embedded Tissue Sections. can you explain: Heat treatment / Pepsin/saponin: do I need to do all 3 steps? what is the recommended AR for this Ab: ph6/ 3.5/8?

    Asked by: sharon
Thank you for your question. You do not have to perform all of the antigen retrieval methods. Most customers use sodium citrate and heat at 95° C for 5 minutes.

What blocking solution should I use with CCDC73 (D-8): sc-514344 monoclonal antibody for Western blot?

    Asked by: jenniferc
Thank you for your question. We recommend blocking with Blotto (either TBS Blotto A: sc-2333 or TBS Blotto B: sc-2335). Our Western blot protocol can be found here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/western-immuno-blotting
