CCDC44 Antibody (D-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects CCDC44 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-CCDC44 antibody (D-3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CCDC44, also known as coiled-coil domain containing 44, is a 297 amino acid protein encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 17, which harbors over 1,200 genes, including critical tumor suppressor genes such as p53 and BRCA1. CCDC44 plays a vital role in cellular processes, particularly in regulating cell adhesion and migration, which are essential for tissue development and repair. Proper CCDC44 function is crucial, as dysregulation has been implicated in various pathological conditions, including cancer metastasis. Understanding CCDC44 interactions and pathways can provide insights into therapeutic targets for cancer treatment and other diseases characterized by abnormal cell movement.
